2007-11-13 - 2:48 p.m. Hey, Hey, Hey, It's Our Anniversary Today ************ He's waiting for me at the top of the staircase. No, wait, that's misleading. The staircase is narrow. He's waiting for me to get to the top of the stairs so that he can go down them. So, really, he's waiting for the stairs. But he's smiling at me when I get to the top, so maybe he was waiting for both. I smile back and say hello, natural as can be, however, the fact that I find this man to be extremely attractive thusly qualifies this as flirting. Still smiling, he stumbles a little on the first step. I giggle. I hadn't intended for my laughter to come out quite so adorably as it did. Actually, it surprises me because my usual reaction to situations in which people hurt or embarass themselves is more like a hearty and thoroughly unladylike HAHAHA! But I did, I (involuntarily) giggled. And since then, I haven't seen him again, which is actually just fine. Because the satisfaction of attracting another man is, well, pretty satisfying. And the scenario I've just described, though trifling, made me very happy indeed. I mean, to get one of these scenarios, and for it to then just slide right along so harmlessly. I don't know, I felt pretty lucky that day. I feel pretty lucky today too.
